Description

Northern Rivers enters Little League teams into the Gold Coast Baseball Association competitions and games are played on a home and away format. This is the first level of Baseball where children are separated into two groups based on their skill level, Little League Majors and Little League Minors. The competitions are competitive, and scores are recorded and finals played, however the emphases are still on skill development and equal participation. Although players are rotated through a variety of positions throughout the season, this age group sees children starting to focus on more specific roles within the team.

The competition home games are played at our home ground Arkinstall Park in Tweed Heads South and away games at Gold Coast grounds.
Games played Saturday morning starting 9.30am for one and three quarter hours.

Age

For boys and girls are 9 – 11.

Cost

The cost to play Little League is paid in two instalments.

Payment 1. Register on our website and pay $350 to Baseball NSW, which includes the Federal Registration (Baseball Australia) fee and includes insurance of players.

Payment 2. Pay Gold Coast BaseballAssociation. Cost approximately $55.

Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in practices and could be eligible as coaches, managers, or umpires. Each team is expected to assist with our Canteen.
