Description

Northern Rivers enters an Intermediate League team into the Gold Coast Baseball Association competition and games are played on a home and away format The competition is competitive, and scores are recorded and finals played, however the emphases are still on skill development and equal participation. Intermediate League offers a transition for players between standard Litte League field size and Junior League size. Pitching distance is 50′ and base paths 70′.

The competition home games are played at our home ground Arkinstall Park in Tweed Heads South and away games at Gold Coast grounds. Games played Saturday mornings from 9.30am to 11.15pm (DST), for one and three quarter hours.

Age

For boys and girls are 10 – 12.

Cost

The cost to play Intermediate League is paid in two instalments.

Payment 1. Register on our website and pay $350 to Baseball NSW, which includes the Federal Registration (Baseball Australia) fee and includes insurance of players.

Payment 2. Pay Gold Coast Baseball Association. Cost approximately $55.

Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in practices and could be eligible as coaches, managers, or umpires. Each team is expected to assist with our Canteen.
